Destination Travel

Don’t get me wrong, I love Ohio and I love the small town feel Ada has to offer. However, it gets old. I want to travel and experience things that Ada doesn’t exactly offer. The following cities are on the top of my travel list while still staying in the United States.

1. Boulder, Colorado
I’m not much of an outdoorsy person but Colorado strangely enough, has my interest. After I saw one of my friend’s pictures, I decided I have to visit. The stunning scenery and quaint downtown area has something for everyone to enjoy.

2. Las Vegas, Nevada
Honestly, who doesn’t want to experience Las Vegas at least one time in their lives? Finally, after months of begging, my parents are finally letting me go to Vegas! I’ll be going to Las Vegas for the first time over Thanksgiving break. I’m very excited to check out the casinos, bars and shows the city has to offer. Let’s pray I make it back in one piece!

3. New York, New York
New York is another city you just have to experience in your life. I hear it’s almost impossible to see everything in one visit with must-sees like the Empire State building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Grand Central Station, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Not only are there monumental attractions in New York, but amazing shopping and dining. Count me in!

4. Honolulu, Hawaii
If a city has warm weather and beaches, you can book my flight ticket right away. The mention of Hawaii automatically triggers a positive response. Warm, sandy beaches with refreshing cocktails and beautiful scenery? Yes, please!

5. Nashville, Tennessee
As a country music junkie, Nashville is a must for me. With live music coming from all over town and country music legends at the Grand Ole Opry, you never know what will happen in Nashville. I’m planning my first trip to Nashville this summer. Fingers crossed it works out!
