This past weekend was Bid
Day at Ohio Northern University. As stressful and long as the recruitment
process is, Bid Day always seems to make up for it. Bid Day is always the best
day as a member in the Greek community.
Our theme this year was “Sail
Away with ZTA” and our slogan was “Explored the Rest, Set Sail with the Best.”
Clever, huh? The Delta Theta chapter at Ohio Northern was fortunate enough to
add 15 new members into our sisterhood. I love being able to see the new member’s
excitement and joy as they realize they will become a sister of Zeta Tau Alpha in
a few short weeks.
As a senior, I hope the
new members find something their passionate about in ZTA. For me, my passion for
the fraternity comes from my ZTA family. Without my ZTA family, my time in ZTA
would have been drastically different. On September 25, we will (hopefully) be
adding another member to our family. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
I hope the new members are
able to find the strong bonds of friendship and sisterhood in Zeta Tau Alpha
and grow into incredible members of our fraternity.
